Peppol is the European network that moves invoices electronically, straight between invoicing tools. From 2026, B2B invoices between Belgian businesses must be electronic. Kwintio sends and receives invoices over Peppol, in line with that obligation.
Yes, the B2B obligation also applies to VAT-exempt businesses. Kwintio automatically adds the statutory mention “Bijzondere vrijstellingsregeling van belasting” (art. 56bis W.btw).
We warn you in time, at 80 % and at 90 %. If you're already over the threshold, you see a warning immediately.
